I was Princess Greenwood 1998 and I am proud to have had the chance to represent such a wonderful community. It is great to see so many people contentiously involved in supporting the area they live in. I greatly miss living there and hope to someday move back and raise my daughter in such a wonderful place. To the present and future Princess Greenwood, congratulations on representing your town, which I believe is the heart of the valley.

I lived in Greenwood from 1956 to 1961 then we were posted to Comox B.C. I remember having great times there. I was only 6 when I arrived and 10 when I left. I can evern remember the address: #4Rose Street. It was great. Would like to come back someday.

Oh dear. this is a lovely site, but it is singularly lacking in the Business Directory section. We have a ton more businesses and helpful centres than that! Like the Community Centre, and the night classes offered in West Kings. There are day cares, music lessons, clothing stores... I forget if they listed the rec centre.. (bowling, pool, swimming...) We've even got a gym and a Curves fitness centre!

Hey other BLunosers!!! I'm A PROUD BLuenoser!!! NOT A NEWFY!!!!!!! I still like it in Gander but my favourite place in the WORLD will always be Greenwood/Kingston. I moved just last year, and I can still remember the beauty of the valley in the fall, and the summer. WIth all those pretty leaves on the trees, and the beaches BUT IT WAS HOT!!! All my friends are still back there, AND I MISS YOU CANDACE!!!!!! I will always remember the fun that I had in Greenwood. My dad used to work on the base and he ABSOLUTLY LOVED it there. So anyone who is reading this from another part of the world... NOVA SCOTIA IS AN EXCELLENT PLACE TO VISIT!! GO THERE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!!!!! MAKE SURE YOU SEE GREENWOOD/KINGSTON!!!!! I LOVE YOU GREENWOOD/KINGSTON, NOVA SCOTIA AND GOOD NIGHT!!!!!!
